  Formed in Edmonton in the mid '60s, Southbound Freeway's roots stem from the remnants of several earlier groups on the scene. After The Chessmen (not to be confused with Terry Jacks' band at the time in Vancouver) had run their course, Dwayne and Richard Osepchuk switched gears and rolled the dice on a new project with singer Mo Boyer.
